Gifts for Parents

Obviously one can’t pay the price what parents have paid for years, while bringing up their children, the hurdles and obstacles they faced, the pains and discomforts they confronted, the rough and tough circumstances they gone through, this makes children so indebted that they are simply not able to return what exactly they have done. Surely, this does not mean that they should not try to make their parents feel important and privileged; certainly, there are things that can be done to reward their endeavors.

When it comes returning to parents children should realize that what is important to them, what are their expectations, requirements and emotional needs. It is not necessary that one should do extra ordinary things to make his parents delighted; even small things can do wonders, like simply listening to our parents, giving importance to their opinions, obeying them and respecting them.

Those who are living with parents can offer them helping hand while doing home chores, even a mere expression of care and concern can mean a lot to them, spend some quality time having a chit chat, take care of them when they are sick, these all are small gifts to parents which cost nothing.

In any case if parents are away, children can send greeting cards on different occasions, make phone calls off and on just to check they are fine, plan a surprise visit to them, make sure they are having enough money to meet their expenses and ask them about their needs.

Moreover, children can also favor parents indirectly making them proud by being a valuable citizen of a society; certainly, it will upset them if children are indulged in some illegal and immoral activities. Being responsible and helping towards your family can also become a reason for your parents to appreciate you. And last but not the least try to prove your parents that you are a gift to them by GOD.
